I feel mighty clever!

Because, you know, it took my until yesterday to think of subscribing to TOotS and xkcd through RSS… :x

And I’ve been reading TOotS for three years now…

And I know Burlew or Burfew or whatever abbreviates it to “OotS”, but I’ve been calling it “TOotS” for a while now, and “old habits” and all that rubbish. You know.

And what the Hell am I doing, spamming my own blog in the middle of the night?! It’s pathetic, is what it is, and I should go to bed. Or, seeing as I’m technically in bed already, go to sleep.

That abbreviation of yours makes me wanna go “Don’t ya worry, toots, daddy’s gonna take care of you.” in a sleezy voice. Which in turn makes the skin crawl.

Anyways, RSS-feeds are ridiculous stuff for someone as dependent of the Net as I am. I check OotS for updates 10-20 times every day anyway, just as random bookmark-clicking while waiting for slow pages to load, and I would even with the feed – the stuff I DO have feeds on, I usually end up catching that way before the feed does…

    “Dependent”? Aren’t you thinking of “addicted”? :P / :?

As for the abbreviation, yeah, that’s basically what I first thought of it to, when it was introduced to me by my Polish acquantance. But I got over it, in time.

No, not really. It turns out, I don’t have abstinences when I’m not around computers, at least not as long as it’s just a matter of a number of weeks (I’ve never experienced being away from computers for months at a time). I just automatically spend too much time online if there’s a computer in the room. Hence “dependent”, not “addicted”.
