2007-08-03 — Quote of the Day
“They have no wisdom, none. No compassion, either, I’d say. That’s the general rule among those who’ve never known the material world, who’ve never suffered in the flesh. Be careful, lass. Be on your guard every moment you’re around them.”
– Nevyn,
“Deverry: A Time Of Exile” by Katharine Kerr.

2007-08-02 — Quote of the Day
It does look as if Massachusetts were in a fair way to embarrass me with kindnesses this year. In the first place, a Massachusetts judge has just decided in open court that a Boston publisher may sell, not only his own property in a free and unfettered way, but also may as freely sell property [...]

Van Helsing
For some insane reason (I believe it’s called “my sister” ), I’ve just watched “Van Helsing” for the third time or so.

2007-08-01 — Quote of the Day
Elaine Marley: “Let’s face it, LeChuck. You are an evil, foul-smelling, vile, codependent villain and that’s just not what I’m looking for in a romantic relationship right now.”
LeChuck: “Darn yer riddles, ya saucy female! What d’ya mean?”
